"Spent two nights in one of the lovely, warm shepherds huts. The area is absolutely stunning and great for anyone interested in nature and bird life. Our hosts Jamie and Jo were incredibly friendly, providing an outdoor fire pit and food to give to Jeff, the resident duck!"

"This was our second time staying here and it just gets better. It is such a wonderful escape so so peaceful with only the sound of the local birds. We relaxed as soon as we arrived and didn't want to leave. we will be coming back."

"Wonderful place, beautiful situation looking out at the lovely lake, enjoyed the walk around it despite having not the best weather. The hut is perfectly kitted out with everything you need, a pristine and cosy space (looks as if recently done it’s so clean!) I can’t believe the level of comfort and space - it’s like a tardis. Hosts very lovely and easy instructions to get there... Quite perfect!"

"2nd time staying in Jamie’s shepard huts….and won’t be our last. Beautiful area, so quiet and secluded. Hut had everything we needed and we were made to feel very welcome. Great communication and nothing is too much trouble. 5 stars isn’t enough…"
